Additional Resources

Here are some additional resources we have found that may be helpful for you!

  • Addiction Help - According to AddictionHelp.com they are the only addiction and mental health website that has been founded by a board-certified addiction specialist, a long-recovered addict, and spouses of addicts. They aim to provide information about addiction and recovery to assist addicts and their loved ones. Specifically, they have helped spread awareness about military veterans having higher rates of developing a mental illness or addiction in comparison to civilians. For more information, click here.
  • GeneSight - According to GeneSight, it is a pharmacogenomic test that analyzes clinically important genetic variations that may affect your outcomes with certain medications. GeneSight test results can show which medications may require dose adjustments, may be less likely to work, or may have an increased risk of side effects based on an individual's genetic makeup.
  • Help At Hand PAP - Help at Hand assists people who have no insurance or who do not have enough insurance and need help getting their Takeda medicines. Some Takeda medicines include Vyvanse, Trintillex, and Mydayis, along with some other medications. If you are having difficulty affording your Takeda medication, you can check your eligibility and start the application process for the program here.
  • QbCheck - According to Qbtech, QbCheck is an FDA cleared test to help aid professionals in diagnosing and treating ADHD. This computer test takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Open the link in either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. For further instructions prior to taking the test, click here.
  • The Agenda - This is the first planner and app that helps individuals who menstruate sync their work and life tasks with their cycle. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
